a journey into the sweetness and potency of flowering
Become She who embodies the sweetness and potency of Flowering
a journey into the sweetness and potency of flowering
Become She who embodies the sweetness and potency of Flowering
The Magic
A week immersed in feminine flow & animistic arts, where everything you do connects you more deeply to your own ability to heal yourself, know yourself, and express yourself fully, wholly and holy.
With the land as our mother and lover, the waters as our sanctuary, and the honey bees & serpent as our guides, we will journey each day into the body as Nectary, exploring the energy centers of our body as a garden of roses. You will learn to activate, unfurl, bathe, and be seduced by your inner flowers.
To become the nectary is to surrender to an alchemy you already carry, one that distills sweetness from whatever it is fed, spiritually and literally, and returns that sweetness to you as fluid, tears, milk, sweat, moon blood, the honied work of being alive. Most women are taught to apologize for this. Here, we don't. Here we discover what a woman's body offers when it is finally given room to open.
Through breath, movement, rest, nourishment, dreaming, ritual, and the company of women, you will meet your glandular, spiritual, fluid, and energetic body directly. You will meet your fire and your water, your assertive nature and your receptive one, your sun and your moon.

Where We Gather
This work sits at the pinnacle of inner alchemy as practiced for over a decade by Gina DeBernardo and Ariella Daly. This is wisdom and practices gathered from women before us and ingested through many pathways of knowing, from dreams, to animistic ceremony, personal meditation, to dance. At it's heart, the work is honored as nectary work because it is informed by the honey bee who stores potent medicine, nourishment, and sacred knowledge in the many honeycombed chambers of the hive.
It is also deeply informed by the sinuous, erotic force of the serpent, found as guide to women's spiritual traditions across the world.
The bee & the serpent know the secret of the rose, thus we go to our inner garden, as a bee to the bloom, as Python to her lover, as the Magdalene to her temple, to discern the gnostic secrets our own bodies carry.
We are not reclaiming or carrying on a lineage, we are helping each woman discover her own wisdom traditions carried in her body and spirit. We are awaking something eternal within each of us that has remained hidden in the vast nectar-rich library of our womanhood, waiting for us to come with our milk, our pollen, our song, and our blood.
It is for the woman who has held a great deal for others and is ready to be held by land, practice, food, beauty, and a circle of women who know how to listen.
It is for the dreamer, the healer, the artist, the mother, the threshold-walker, the one who has been quietly changing for years and now needs a place where that change can be witnessed.
It is for you if you are drawn to bees, dreams, flowers, snakes, myth, sacred ecology, the feminine mysteries, or the profound intelligence of the body.
It is also for you if you do not know exactly why you are drawn here, only that something in you leaned forward when you saw the hills, the hives, the pool, the old stone, the word nectar.
You do not need prior experience with dreamwork, ritual, beekeeping, or women’s mystery traditions.
You do need a willingness to participate sincerely, to respect the depth of others, to listen to your body, and to let the week be more than a vacation.
Though yes, there will also be excellent food and swimming. We are not trying to become disembodied saints. Absolutely not.

Le Pianore is a family run villa and regenerative farm, and will be ours for the week.
Fifty hectares of vines, olive groves, woodland and walnut trees surround the buildings, with a creek running through the land and trails leading off into the trees.
Le Pianore keeps its own hives, and the honey is millefiori: a thousand flowers, the whole flowering of this one piece of land gathered into honey by its bees. It is certified organic, and the vineyards are worked biodynamically, by the cycles of the moon.
The days will each have their own shape. We will keep a temple space for our work together, as well as sometimes meeting on the outdoor platform.
When the heat builds, there are two waters to choose between: a saltwater pool, and a bio-lake, a natural swimming pond, clear and alive, kept that way by its own plants.
At night we will spread out among many beautiful and individual structures dotted across the property. This includes the stone farmhouse villa and cottage, with terracotta floors that stay cool through the summer heat and rooms that open straight onto the gardens, a house built of wood and straw among the olive trees, and a round yurt in the woods with a skylight at its peak.
Thirteen hundred years of people making a home on this land, and now it holds us for a week.

We believe in the importance of nourishment to support the depth of your inner flowering.
Part of why we chose Le Pianore is for their incredible food and hospitality. Our meals are an immersion into slow and restorative Italian culture. Much of what will nourish us will be harvested that day from their organic garden.
Their honoring of the land is present in every bite.
We will enjoy three meals a day together, along with fresh fruits all day, and an afternoon snack.
*All meals will take into account allergies or dietary needs such as vegetarian or gluten free.
You are a dreamer and a lover of this wildly beautiful earth. You are whole and you are healing. You are ancient and you belong to now.
Our days and nights will honor this.
To be clear, this is not a beekeeping retreat.
The bees will be there, because Le Pianore keeps hives and the land is alive with flowers, but you do not need to know anything about bees to come.
All you need, is to trust the call humming through your blood and alive on your skin.
This retreat is about nectar.
The nectar that gathers when women have enough quiet, beauty, food, dreaming, movement, and honest witnessing to remember what is actually alive in them.
Each day will have its own shape.
We will gather in the mornings for teaching, embodied practice, movement, and the slow work of listening inward.
In the afternoons we will either gather for practices and teachings, or enjoy more spaciousness, because depth needs room. You may swim, nap, wander, write, sit under a tree, follow a trail, or let your body do that ancient mammalian unwinding.
In the evenings we will return to the temple space for ceremony or quiet practices that help the day settle into the body.
The work will include:
• Dream incubation and dream tending
• Womb-centered and body-based practices
• Movement, breath, and somatic listening
• Mythic teachings on bees & serpents, flowers, eros, and feminine becoming
• Ritual with honey, water, flowers, and the land
• Spacious time for rest, swimming, writing, and integration
• A pilgrimage or excursion to a local site, shaped by weather and group rhythm
• Evening practices for dreams, descent, and inner flowering
When you say yes to a retreat like this, the work does not begin when you arrive in Italy. It begins when your body first feels the pull.
Trust what is shaping you as you step toward this offering.
Gina and Ariella will tend the whole arc: preparation, immersion, and return.

Ariella and Gina have been teaching women’s retreats and trainings together since 2018, but their shared body of work began long before that.
For over a decade, they have studied and practiced animistic, womb-centric, embodied arts together, weaving dreams, movement, myth, honey bee and serpent teachings, bodywork, ritual, and earth-based ceremony into the living field they now hold for women.
Their collaboration is devotional. They have dreamed together, trained together, taught together, traveled together, and listened together for the deeper intelligence moving through women’s bodies, dreams, grief, desire, creativity, and becoming.
Ariella Daly is an animist teacher, dreamworker, and guide in the feminine mysteries whose work explores the living relationship between body, Earth, dream, and spirit. Drawing from European folk traditions and myth, Greek dream incubation, Celtic spirituality, womb wisdom, and embodied ritual practices, for over 20+ years she has created spaces where women can remember the deep intelligence that lives within both themselves and the animate world.
The honeybee is one of the central symbols and teachers within her work, acting as both living guide and sacred emblem of the ancient women's mysteries, echoing the traditions of the Melissae—the bee priestesses of the ancient Aegean—and the enduring relationship between bees, goddesses, and the oracular imagination.
For Ariella, the body is an oracle, the womb a centre of intuition and gnosis, and dreams a living conversation with the more-than-human world. Through oracular arts, dreamwork, ceremonial practice, nature-based embodiment, and mythic inquiry, she invites women to cultivate a more intimate relationship with their own knowing, reclaim the wisdom of the feminine, and restore a sense of belonging within the wider ecology of life.
Gina DeBernardo is a bodywork practitioner, embodiment guide, educator, and founder of Body as Love. For years, she has lovingly supported women in reconnecting with the erotic life force that naturally lives within their bodies—a source of vitality, creativity, pleasure, and deep inner wisdom. Whether the invitation is toward quiet stillness, gentle healing, grounded presence, or vibrant, ecstatic aliveness, Gina meets each woman exactly where she is, offering a nurturing, compassionate presence and a safe, supportive space where healing can unfold in its own perfect timing.
With deep reverence for the body's innate intelligence, Gina creates spaces where women are invited to soften, breathe, and simply be—free from judgment, expectation, or the need to perform. She believes the body is not something to fix, but a wise and faithful companion that holds both our stories and our extraordinary capacity for resilience, healing, and transformation.
For years, Gina has devoted herself to embodying the Nectary as a lived practice of presence, reverence, and deep listening. This work is not something she simply teaches—it is woven into the way she lives. Rooted in her own ongoing journey, she offers what she has come to know through experience, guiding with integrity, and an open heart.
With ancestral roots in Italy, bringing this work to the land of her family feels deeply meaningful to Gina. It is both an honor and a heartfelt homecoming to share these practices in a place that has long lived in her heart and family story.

Ariella & Gina met me with such grace, openness, curiosity, deep wisdom and love. So much magic within them and held around them for us all to transform. I felt deeply held in their presence, never once judged, just so much allowance for me to be, for me to feel, for me learn. They facilitate in such a way that there is gentle, but deep unfolding all around you and within you. I was allowed to deeply rest, to deeply feel into my body, deeply return to self. When I look back on my time at Sol Henge, it feels like a dream, like the most beautiful dream, if I could live forever in that dream, I would.
for what felt like the first time in my life
"I was truly seen and heard
Facilitators Ariella and Gina created a safe and protective container for the deep and meaningful work to come alive. The practices I learned while in attendance will have a lasting and positive effect on my healing path and practice. The integration of all that we learned and developed over the course of the time there was both affirming and magical to say the very least.
the overall experience was life changing.
"The retreat was much more than expected.
Again thank you Ariella and Gina for your continued service towards the integration of the feminine into its wholeness. Thank you for the magic you weave.
and has been such an incredible catalyst in my growth.
"The retreat continues to bring gifts and lessons to the surface
So much "learning" happens in the mind nowadays, but this experience is designed for the whole self. 6 months later, new parts of myself are awakening that are shifting decades old perceptions.
I walked in as a woman wanting to learn. I walked out as part of the mystery.
I walked in to a cool retreat. I walked out of a ancient portal.
I went with my daughter to Sol Henge in France in the summer of 2018 it was without doubt one of the most precious times i have had with her. Just the memories fill my heart with gratitude, Thank you so much Gina and Ariella for such a golden time.
Wild at times and wonderfully soothing at others your journey will offer transformation and an exquisite peep behind the veil.
These women are space keepers, they hold the keys to an array of doors welcoming you in.
as well as harkening back to when women were the holders and bearers of the Sacred. The (retreat) work is embodied while also drawing deeply on the imagination. While teaching us practices that can easily be brought back into everyday life. The revelations that came out of the retreat will be pondered and ruminated over for years to come.
She grounds her work in myth, poetry, and the bees themselves
I have taken several classes with Ariella including her 10-month beekeeping course.
It opened up doors that I didn’t know existed inside of me. I felt truly held during this great transition, as I learned more about myself and the world around me.
"The retreaet was an incredible and beautiful life changing experience
